Ohlfest receives McKnight
Land-Grant Professorship

John Ohlfest, Ph.D. a 2010 McKnight Land-Grand Professor, given to the U of M's most promising junior faculty. With this grant Olhfest will continue his research on Harnessing the Precision of the Immune System to Treat Brain Tumors that is also supported by Children’s Cancer Research Fund.

Moertel, Neglia, Tolar selected among Best Doctors

Three pediatric hematology/oncology physicians/researchers with Masonic Cancer Center and the Children’s Cancer Research Fund were among Twin Cities area physicians selected as 2010 Best Doctors by Mpls. St. Paul magazine. They are: Christopher Moertel, M.D., Joseph Neglia, M.D., and Jakub Tolar, M.D., Ph.D. They and others who were selected best doctors are listed in the January issue of the magazine.
